Short Term Rental Cleaning Checklist

Kitchen

  • Countertops thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and organized.
  • Sinks disinfected and chrome shined​
  • All appliances cleaned,  including top of fridge
  • Clean inside of fridge
  • Backsplash, window sills and ledges dusted​
  • Doors and frames spot cleaned
  • Floors are vacuumed and mopped​
  • Microwave wiped out
  • Clean under sink and garbage can
  • Empty Dishwasher
  • Clean and disinfect tables

Bedroom

  • All surfaces wiped down including headboard
  • Open and check all drawers wipe out drawers, and wash handles 
  • Strip and re-make bed
  • Check under bed and night tables for items
  • Move bed if needed
  • Vacuum between mattress and bed frame
  • Clean mirrors and windows

Bathroom

  • Wash and disinfect sink and countertops
  • Wash and scrub tub (including outside)
  • Wash and scrub toilet inside and out
  • Clean mirror
  • Baseboards/pictures dusted
  • Open all cupboards and clean and disinfect drawers and handles 
  • Wash Shower curtain
  • Remove water spots from glass shower doors
  • Shine chrome faucets and handles

General

  • Wash and arrange towels
  • Set out all toiletries
  • Take out trash and recycling
  • All floors are vacuumed and mopped, chairs are moved, pull-out couch if needed.
  • Clean and disinfect all light switches, door handles, and all commonly touched surfaces
  • Dust furniture, window ledges, knick-knacks, baseboards
  • Wash leather couches and vacuum upholstery
  • Dust blinds as needed
  • Dust ceilings for cobwebs
  • Spot clean walls, door jams
  • Clean door windows
  • Prep anything extra that you would like done for customers

Deck

  • BBQ scraped and wiped down
  • BBQ replaced
  • Table & chairs cleaned and disinfected
  • Windows and Glass railings on deck cleaned if needed
  • Removal of debris, dust, and cobwebs

Move In / Move Out Cleans

Move In / Move out cleans are done on a per hour basis at $45/hr

General

  • Doors are washed down, removing all dust, dirt and fingerprints.
  • Spot cleaning on walls (or washed if requested)
  • Reachable windows and window sills dusted and hand wiped
  • Door frames, knobs, and light switches cleaned
  • All baseboards are scrubbed and wiped clean
  • All floors are vacuumed and mopped, chairs are moved, pull-out couch if needed.
  • Dust furniture, window ledges, knick-knacks, baseboards
  • Wash leather couches and vacuum upholstery
  • Dust blinds
  • Dust ceilings for cobwebs
  • Clean door windows
  • All leather furniture wiped down and/or all upholstered furniture vacuumed.
  • Prep anything extra that you would like done for customers

Kitchen

  • Countertops thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and organized.
  • Sinks disinfected and chrome shined
  • Fronts of all appliances cleaned
  • appliances pulled out and cleaned behind
  • Backsplash, window sills and ledges dusted
  • Doors and frames spot cleaned
  • Floors are vacuumed and mopped
  • Microwave wiped out
  • Clean inside cupboards, fridge, and stove

Bedroom

  • Areas under furniture are vacuumed
  • Knickknacks are individually cleaned
  • Picture frames dusted
  • Baseboards dusted and wiped
  • Floors are vacuumed
  • Beds are made
  • Change or wash linens & laundry

Bathroom

  • Inside shower tile grouting scrubbed
  • Fronts of cabinets hand wiped
  • Baseboards dusted
  • Shower glass and mirrors streak free
  • Shower curtains washed
  • Countertops thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and organized.
  • Floors are vacuumed and mopped​
  • Sinks cleaned, sanitized and shined.
  • Personal belongings hand wiped
  • Toilets disinfected inside and out including surrounding floors, walls and cabinets.
  • Trash collected and disposed of, garbage cans wiped out.
